Claims Executive - 7 to 11Years - 60Days - APAC region

Title : Claims Executive

Experience : 7 to 11Years in operation trading and legal background

NP : 30 - 60Days

Shift : APAC - 6.30am to 3.30PM

Location : Bangalore

Responsibilities :

- Strong experience in Claims and Legal

- Link between operation trading and insurance or legal

- Knowledge around time charters/voyage charters, Bare boats.

- Experience on working in various types of vessels, need to have worked on Tankers.

- Technical background working as surveyor or in Dock would be beneficial.

- Strong expertise in English.

- IMOS - Ops system and trading system

- SEDNA - knowledge on it is good to have.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Minimum 7 years in work environment preferably on board Bulk Carrier/ Tankers with at least 5 years ashore: Owner, Charterer in a claims executive role or a PnI club

- Extensive knowledge of shipping preferably dry bulk and wet/liquid

- Good knowledge of both Time and Voyage Charter Parties

- Good knowledge of both Bills of Ladings and Letter of Indemnities
