JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Employee Industrial Relations Lead - South Asia will counsel and assist our employees on all issues guided by company's employee relations policy and labor-law legislation. We seek a professional with the interpersonal skills to conduct investigations concerning employee/management inquiries, industrial relations, MADJV (mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, join ventures) and employee suggestions and complaints.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Develop, design and interpret policies, trainings and communications, providing recommendations for corrective action, policy revision and improving employee relations.

- Provide consultation & support stakeholders in the formal discipline or termination of employees.

- Establish operating policies and procedures that affect departments and subordinate sections and work units in line with the applicable labour laws.

-Advise on complex ER matter and provide consulting on projects MADJV, Transformation, Employee communication

- Expertise in employment contracts, interpretation of ER policies & provide consultation on compliance matters

- Advise on contract negotiations, grievance cases, arbitrations, conciliations under the labor legislation.

- Advise stakeholders & represent management in collective bargaining with unions representing company employees.

- Collaborate and co-ordinate with regional EIR team and ER CoE on integrated approach for company policy changes (other than regulatory policies)

- Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

- Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

- Bachelor's/PG degree in a related field or equivalent experience

- Minimum of twelve years of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

-Minimum three years of supervisory experience
