Job Purpose and Impact Commercial Lead, Agri Input will be responsible for : 1. Doorstep sale of agri-input by partnering with local distributors, agri-input retailers at hyper-local level 2. Making sure that partner distributors and agri-input retailers maintain sufficient stock of agri-inputs demanded by farmers and offer competitive price 3. Steering digital/tele-based demand generation of agri-inputs through gathering and acting upon local intelligence related to market and customer segment; with an aim to eradicate the problems of accessibility and affordability of right-quality and competitive-price agri-inputs to farmers so as to reduce their cost of cultivation and mitigate risks 4. In this role, you will generate income and control risks by performing complex trading work, with medium risk tolerance. Key Accountabilities : 1. Develop detailed plan for densification and expansion of agri-input marketplace, focusing on doorstep delivery of good-quality and rightly priced agri-inputs to farmers 2. Onboard and maintain relationship with local distributors and retailers of agri-inputs from the selected geography 3. Apply a thorough comprehension of business to execute and monitor the short-term seasonal execution strategies for a specific category, market, or customer 4. Develop and execute strategy regarding new partnership development for enhancing reach and offering to farmers registered with Digital Saathi 5. Identify institutional partners who are innovative with their approach about farmers' outreach, foster relationships to open new business channels 6. Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls 7. Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff 8. Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications : 1. Bachelor's/P.G degree in a related field or equivalent experience 2. Minimum of four years of related work experience 3. Other minimum qualifications may apply Preferred Qualifications : 1. 12-15 Years of experience either in agri input trade - with reasonable experience of digital mode of B2C channel 2. E-commerce business focused on rural customer segment 3. Masters in Agri Business Management 4. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team, spread across diverse geographies and to deliver in a time bound program 5. Familiarity with other business disciplines such as finance, market research, and planning 6. Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to negotiate and problem-solve 7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
