Job Description:

The Category Head will craft and execute a category marketing strategy to drive profitable growth and customer wins. In this role, you will partner with Insights, R&D and Sales teams to establish new value propositions, business plans and marketing opportunities to enable an outstanding customer experience to deliver valuable offerings for customers and prospects.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Leverage insights and customer knowledge to identify unmet need states and create value propositions

- Plan, execute and measure marketing strategies, promotions and annual plans for a customer or specific channels to implement marketing strategies and sales objectives.

- In collaboration with the sales and marketing team and marketing leadership, align marketing initiatives with category value propositions, plans and goals and ensure marketing offerings support the customer.

- Act as a project manager ensuring effective and timely execution of key customer or channel initiatives based on priorities established through the business planning process.

- Demonstrate deep knowledge of customer priorities to help identify areas where additional customer profitability and brand growth can be achieved.

- Supervise category performance and metrics and serve as the feedback loop from sales and customers to resolve efficiency of initiatives and include promotional efficacy to improve return on investment.

- Evaluate and modify promotion or campaigns and GTM programs.

- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

- MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business related or equivalent experience,

- Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver timely projects within budge guidelines

- Experience executing consumer, channel and/or customer specific campaigns and promotions

- Experience engaging directly with customers with a positive impact

- Experience developing strategic marketing plans that generated customer growth

- Minimum of Ten years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Comfortable working across silos and building strong partnerships cross-functionally

- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to navigate it

- Looking for people from Bakery, Confectionary, Ingredient's background

- Candidates with 10+ years of experience are preferred from the FMCG sector
