CareerLabs - Product Manager

As a Product Manager at CareerLabs you would be responsible for the success of the product you are leading. You would be responsible for Student Nurturing Platform where college students would explore to figure out if CareerLabs is the right platform for their needs.

We understand that great products are not built overnight! It needs nurturing and a leader to champion its vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Understanding the needs, motivation and behavior of college students through interactions, Market Research, stakeholder inputs etc

- Identifying key problems and prioritize them based on customer and business value

Product Design Hat

- Coming up with solutions to key problems and envisioning the right flow for the college student base

- Own the key metrics for your product and strive to improve them through experiments

- Taking Data driven decisions and measuring the performance objectively

- Working with design, engineering and QA to plan (agile) & ship the product

- Managing Go to market for your products

- Piloting the product - Beta Launch and rollout

- Product Training for Sales and Operations Teams

REQUIRED SKILLS & PARAMETERS

- Ideal candidates should have 2+ years of hands-on product management in B2C space

- Great Communication skills

- Ability to influence cross functional stakeholders and motivate them

- Prior experience in software development is a big plus

- EdTech work experience is a plus but not mandatory

HANDS ON EXPERIENCE / ABILITY

- Create Customer Persona and develop in-depth understanding

- Conduct Market Research - Primary and Secondary

- Competitor Analysis, Business Case

- Product High Level Definition, Product Detail Description

- Execution Planning and Management

- Hosting Review Meetings, Reports & Updates

- Gathering Beta Customers, Running Beta User Tests
