- The company is seeking a senior manager in Financial Planning and Analysis, which is a newly created position to allow the senior folks in finance to focus on strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality analysis around business performance as well as supporting the commercial business teams in their delivery of budgets, forecasts and long range plans.

Position summary : 

- Drive budgeting, build systems and processes, develop and track metrics to increase efficiency and create BOD presentations for the Finance team

The focus areas : 

- The senior manager - FP&A will closely work with senior management to model long term financial strategy and manage the planning and forecasting process. This includes liaising with key business managers to produce a financial road map for the organization. This individual will also be responsible for managing the monthly reporting process and leading a proactive FP&A process across the organization, creating collaborative partnerships between Finance and the functional teams to better understand business needs and issues.

- Drive strategic planning for all the legal entities with analysis of key drivers with previous plan and actuals.

- Lead cross functional effort to coordinate and build the Consolidated Annual Operating Plan.

- Provide and manage ongoing financial support and business partnering to sales and marketing in the areas of new business opportunities, growth assessment and profitability, and customer specific performance for business partners.

- Oversight of monthly and quarterly closing & reporting process for FP&A - On a monthly basis, lead the forecasting process for the business, analyze current results against forecast and budgets and provide key driver analysis and business insight. Ensure business leaders are provided insight and financial guidance to achieve short/long term financial commitments, including strategic initiatives for each of their functions.

- Perform financial analysis across the various operating levels to identify and analyze trends, variances from forecast, and variances from prior years and provide insight and counsel for corrective action up to and including execution ideas and timelines.

- Establish the finance processes to meet the organizations strategic goals; identify and resolve issues around data integrity and availability for business profitability

- Build high performing work team that will be a critical asset to managing the company- s short term and long term financial performance.

- Prepare presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team

- Develop and communicate the - story- of monthly performance and forecasts to leadership teams.

- Demonstrated ability to construct long-range P&L and cash flow models and perform DCF ROI analyses

- Drive automation of FP&A function to move away from manual excel based FP&A reports

The successful applicant : 

- At least 7-8 years of experience of Financial Planning and Analysis

- Preferred Qualification - Master's Degree in Finance / Chartered Accountant

- Strong leadership skills required. Experience in multi-unit concepts preferred

- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized; Highly proficient with advanced Microsoft Excel techniques

- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

- Life-long learner, who believes there is always room for improvement and welcomes constructive feedback from seniors as well as team members/juniors and believe that with each passing day, one should improve and learn.
