As the Head of Advertising Operations, you will be in charge of leading the entire advertising operations team ensuring accurate and timely execution of all advertising programs. This role has the potential to impact the largest BU within CarDekho with high visibility with founders and top management.

Responsibilities:

- Delivery of all ad ops campaigns, including but not limited to quality control, trafficking, troubleshooting, reporting, optimization, capacity planning and management and accurate billing.

- Define and manage best practices for campaign execution and develop campaigns dashboard to provide executive view of performance and taking optimization steps

- Ensuring good relationships with sales, marketing, compliance, editorial, technology and product departments including development of ad operations SLA and issue resolution and escalation processes.

- Managing ad network account setup, reporting, data analysis and traffic campaigns.

- Manage the execution and the technical deployment of both direct (creative assets and tags) and programmatic (deal IDs, ad-networks) video and display campaigns: Ad-serving, trafficking, optimization, troubleshooting, etc.

- Monitoring revenues and key KPIs on a daily basis

- defining yield strategies and inventory optimization over the entire portal

- Leads innovation for the rest of the team, enabling constant improvement in performance and hence enabling continuous achievement of sales targets as well as the business's overall targets.

- Reviews dashboards and ad campaign performances in order to generate reports and come up with informed, fact-based solutions that efficiently increase the performance of the business's campaigns.

- Conducting vast and consistent research, attending crucial industry seminars and events, and keeping up with industry publications.

- Troubleshoots numerous tracking problems, develops solutions, and documents internal procedures for junior personnel and collaborative personnel to adhere to in the execution of departmental duties.

- Ensure that campaigns are launched on time, that campaign performance is adequately monitored, and any performance issues are communicated to the Sales team in a timely manner.

- Achieve and maintain low error rates and put in place measures to prevent future errors.

- Act as departmental point of escalation for troubleshooting campaigns, and provide technical support to external and internal clients to resolve any issues and develop a plan for the prevention of the same issues.

Skills:

- A minimum of 6 years- experience and at least 3+ years building and managing an Ad Operations team in a digital environment.

- Experience troubleshooting ad serving technical issues, for example, delivery investigation and third party media issues inclusive of the identification of several tag types, e.g. HTML and JavaScript, and potential issues associated with each.

- Expert with leading ad servers including DFP and strong industry knowledge of Ad Operations environment.

- Deep understanding of the digital advertising eco-system, including deep knowledge of video and programmatic landscapes.

- Analytics tools: Google Analytics, Omniture & ComScore.

- Good communicator both verbally and in written form

- Proficient in MS Office, Excel

- Proven ability to grow teams, manage capacity planning.

- Knowledge of programmatic and commercial SSPs as well as DMP platforms.

- Knowledge of audience and data based sales as well as knowledge.

- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and a motivator.

- Publisher experience an advantage

- Highly analytical, Creative thinker and problem solver

- A good understanding of web standards such as HTML, XML, JS / JSON, Flash etc. is a plus

- A team worker, adaptable and resourceful: able to interact with several teams and handle projects of different nature (sales, product, etc.)

- Multi-tasker who can prioritize several projects at a time and take initiatives
