We are looking for Lead Product Analysts to provide quantitative analysis expertise and a strategic perspective to our product teams and other stakeholders throughout the organisation. The product analytics team at CarDekho is a key part of our cross-functional product development teams. We help drive every stage of product development through analytical, statistical and quantitative expertise. As a Lead Product Analyst, you relish tallying up the numbers one minute and communicating your findings to a team leader the next. You can see different angles of a product or business opportunity, and you know how to connect the dots and interact with people in various roles and functions. You will work to effectively turn business questions into data analysis and provide meaningful recommendations on strategy. Job Responsibilities : - Use data to inform and influence the direction of the product team roadmaps inform business decisions - Partner with product teams to define goals and identify key metrics for existing features and new releases - Build automated dashboards and reports to drive awareness and understanding of key metrics and experiment results Candidate Attributes : - Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or other quantitative fields Work experience: - Proven track record of using data to impact key business or product decisions - 8-10 years experience writing production datasets in SQL/Hive OR building internal/production data tools for ETL, experimentation, or exploration in a scripting language (Python or R) Capabilities: - Exceptional problem solving skills based on first principles thinking - A solid grasp of common statistical applications and methods - Ability to clearly and effectively communicate the results of complex analyses and synthesize complex data into actionable goals Bonus Points : - Advanced SQL expertise; extensive hands-on experience with Tableau - Familiarity with big data tech stack e.g. Hadoop, Redshift - Experience working in a tech-led consumer product company - Experience managing / supervising / mentoring junior analysts
