Chief Information Security Officer 1. Responsible for articulating Information and Cyber Security policy for the Organization 2. Be is responsible for providing advice and support to management and information users in the implementation of the Information and Cyber Security Policy. 3. Build and lead the information security team with appropriate competencies and attitudes to deliver the information security program. 4. Promote user awareness initiatives within the organization. 5. Propose Information and Cyber Security Policy to the ISC, and incorporate feedback on the implications of the policy from the ISC and other business areas into the policy-making process. 6. Be is responsible for providing advice and support to management and information users in the implementation of the Information and Cyber Security Policy. 7. Build and lead the information security team with appropriate competencies and attitudes to deliver the information security program. Promote user awareness initiatives within the organization. 8. CISO shall be the convener of the Information Security Committee 9. Provide the management and Users assistance in correcting deficiencies. 10. Bring significant issues of non-compliance to the attention of the ISC for review and remediation. 11. Initiate / undertake an ongoing or ad hoc third-party review/assessment of a specific function or a product to measure the effectiveness of the controls implemented and highlight any vulnerability that needs to be fixed. 12. Responsible for incident response
