- Manage Card Operations in the bank covering both credit and debit cards including card production/ issuance, settlement and chargeback.
- Day to day running of card operations including card production/ issuance, settlement and chargeback.
- Ensure the above is done in a timely manner to meet the customer SLAs and avoid any operational losses arising from delays/ errors in processing.
- Set up internal controls and reconciliation to ensure that processing is done in a timely manner.
- Ensure that appropriate Operational procedures/ policies are documented and approved periodically by the appropriate authority.
- Maintain relevant MIS and report in a periodic basis.
- Coordinate with Cards Business and IT to ensure that all changes required to introduce new cards, etc are done in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Ensure that all Visa/ MasterCard/ CBO/ other scheme rules for chargebacks and settlements are tracked and implemented in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Lead for Cards Operations, any major change project impacting the area. Support the Cards Project team in other Cards related projects.
- Ensure compliance (internal, regulator and Visa/ MasterCard) and Audit requirements are met.
10-15 years in Card Operations, preferably heading the function in a small/ large bank
