Position : Senior Manager Projects, Bangalore Ops with 10-12 years experience


Education : PG in Construction / Project Management (Full time)


Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering)


Location : Bangalore


Reports to : Head Projects, Bangalore Ops


Competencies Required :


1. Good communication and presentation skills. Aptitude to work in highly process oriented environment.


2. Must have worked on large IT Office Buildings, IT campus developments / commercial developments and have handled at least 3 to 4 projects independently from inception to completion as Project Lead.


3. Must have handled multiple contractors, design consultants & project management consultants on the project till project completion. Ability to successfully coordinate and manage multi-disciplinary teams internally (acquisition, development, marketing, property management and construction) as well as externally (architects, engineers, and general contractors/trade contractors etc.).


4. Should have worked with developers / project management firms and have project management skills for reports, presentations, schedule, cost control, safety & quality control.


Responsibilities :


1. Overall responsibility for the assigned project for its planning, execution and related matters & be the SPOC for the project. To manage project construction management team of 8 10 people.


2. Responsible for managing design and construction activities of the projects. Interact with the Employer, project consultants, and service providers to generate design brief.


3. Budgeting, Planning & technical support during tendering. Managing contract and contractor during execution of works, work along with construction management team to do Time, Cost & Quality monitoring.


4. Scheduling and planning activities for timely completion of projects and activate catch-up plan, whenever necessary.


5. Responsible for ensuring safe working environment at the construction sites. Ensure legal compliances for all construction related activities.


6. Identify areas of improvements, suggest modification, create awareness to improve existing processes, & follow standards.


7. Detailing scope of work, conducting technical studies, evaluating vendors, seeking approval for pre-qualifications.


8. Presentations to explain and highlight Project issues to management, for necessary reviews and follow up and directions.


9. Monthly, Quarterly and annual reporting. Participating in management reviews held from time to time.
