Position : MEP Manager - Projects


Education : Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering


Location : Bangalore


Reports to : City Project Head , Bangalore ops


Competencies Required :


- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.


- Minimum 12 years of experience in planning/design & execution of MEP works.


- Expert of the entire MEP part of construction projects in all aspects; design, function, installation & coordination with other disciplines.


- Knowledge on computer software including AutoCAD is preferred.


- Provide the MEP inputs during the design.


- Awareness/exposure on various latest construction system methodologies.


- Should have managed design of at least 4 (four) IT office building projects from inception till completion and projects execution.


- Should have in-depth knowledge of various authority requirements related to MEP services.


- Experience in working with developers / project management firms.


Responsibilities :


- Review of DBR & system schematic drawings.


- Check materials during execution to ensure quality standards. These include tender and construction documents, approval of mock-ups and materials and regular site inspections.


- Manage MEP construction works with MEP contractors.


- Responsible for ensuring safe working environment at the construction sites.


- Explore new/innovative technologies for MEP services.


- Assist in final audits of design/execution related products.


- Coordination with country MEP representatives for design and execution requirement.


- Assist to catalyze product innovation through in-depth research on market trends and new technologies with regards to planning and design.
