Capital Fortunes Private Limited (CFL) is a boutique Investment Bank offering broad range of debt, equity and strategic consulting solutions to clients. CFLs Business Consulting & Equity Solutions Group provides a range of services across business strategy, transaction advisory (partnerships and M&A), equity solutions (private equity, structured finance, etc), business restructuring and governance.

Location: Hyderabad OR Bangalore

Experience: 3-5 years

- Candidates with Strategic Consulting/Transaction Advisory experience

- The role would be client facing.

Key role and description:

\Primary focus - Strategy and/or Transaction Advisory across High-growth & Mature Companies

Other areas - Transaction Support (Business Valuation; Due Diligence)

- Market Coverage and relationship building across companies, investor ecosystem (Angel Networks, Accelerators, Venture Capital, Impact Funds & Private Equity) and domain experts (market, technical, commercial)

- Identifying opportunities and working the team in origination and conversion of leads leveraging primary and secondary research and analysis

- Interacting with clients, contextualising requirements and preparing proposals

- Enabling strategic decisions for clients through effective market assessment and benchmarking leveraging research of relevant trends and developments, industry and peer comparison and key performance drivers of concerned industry and marketplace

- Envisioning viable business models by preparing holistic business plans with detailed financial statement analysis, models and projections

- Testing sensitivities through computation of key ratios, financial metrics and differentiation, relative valuation etc.

- Guiding market positioning through high quality presentations, pitch books and other collaterals / communication material

- Conducting research and analysis on areas including but not limited to client's primary industry, competitors, macro-factors affecting the industry, client's position within the industry

Relevant past work experience, knowledge and skills:

- Candidate should have worked in similar roles at an investment banking / strategy consulting firm or corporate finance division of industry.

Importantly, the candidate should have proficiency in the following:

- Quick turnaround on primary and secondary research

- Ability to evaluate companies through annual reports and other key financial metrics

- Ability to understand and develop impactful Business Plans for clients across transaction and project opportunities

- Sound knowledge of financial modelling, financial analysis and valuation methodologies

- Conversant with preparation of pitches/proposals and investor presentations for transactions

- Ability to envision commercial / transaction structures

- Basic knowledge of legal documentation

- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously

- Proficient knowledge of MS PPT and Excel

- Good written and oral communication skills

Academic requirements : 

CA (in a big4 environment) - Financial Advisory (FAS), Transaction Advisory/Due Diligence (TAS)

CA + MBA

CA + CFA

BE + MBA (tier I institution in India or overseas)
