Capital Fortunes - Senior Analyst/Manager - Thematic Consulting (2-4 yrs)

Capital Fortunes is a boutique Investment Banking and Consulting firm specializing in Business Strategy, Capital Raising, M&A and Governance for companies, projects and initiatives across private and public sector. Thematic Consulting is our independent advisory practice that engages with MSME's, SMEs, Start-ups and Family Businesses advising them in contexts of Business Strategy, Go to market, Partnerships and Capital Raising
Designation: Sr. Analyst or Manager - Thematic Consulting
Location: Hyderabad or Bangalore
Years of experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience
Previous Roles - similar role in:
- Private Equity or Venture Capital advisory in a boutique or multi-national investment bank,
- Corporate Finance practices in any of the Big4 firms,
- Corporate Finance/M&A divisions of an Indian corporate
Capabilities :
- Primary competences - Business Strategy, Financial Analysis and Transaction Advisory for Venture Capital or Private Equity investments, M&A, Strategic/Operational Partnerships and Joint Ventures
- Other competences - Compliance, Tax & Regulatory and any prior work experience in advising family business owners and/or startups
Academic requirements:
Qualification :
- Chartered Accountant (articleship at a Big4 accounting firm an added advantage)
- BE/BTech + MBA (CFA an added advantage)
Job description :
- Sharp skills in analysing and evaluating companies and industries across financial & non-financial metrics
- Sound knowledge in analysing financial statements, financial modelling, financial analysis and business valuation methodologies
- Ability to test sensitivities through computation of key ratios, financial metrics and relative valuation
- Conversant with preparation of pitch books and high-quality investor presentations
- Ability to envision commercial / transaction structures (tax & regulatory knowledge is beneficial)
- Sound commercial knowledge of legal documentation (Term Sheets, SHAs, JVs, etc)
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in at least one sector
