Designation: Principal - Family Business Advisory

Location: Hyderabad or Bangalore

Experience: 4-6 (or above) years of relevant experience

Previous Roles - similar role in:

- Family Business Advisory practice in any of the Big4 firms, or

- Corporate Finance/M&A divisions or Promoter Offices of a Family-owned Indian corporate or

- Business and/or Investment advisory in a multi-family office (MFO) or Wealth Management firm

Capabilities:

- Primary focus - Business Strategy, Tax & Regulatory Structuring, Transition & Succession, Project & Transaction Advisory (including M&A, Strategic/Operational Partnerships, Joint Ventures and Private Investments)

- Other areas - Venture Capital and/or Private Equity Advisory, Governance and Program Management

Job description:

- A key contributor to the vision and go-to-market for Family Business Advisory

- Add to and nurture existing client relationships - across Family Businesses, HNIs, Family Offices

- Sharp business development and commercial acumen - including practice development and management

- Drive origination and conversion of leads - across Promoter Advisory, Business Strategy & Structuring, Project Advisory, Succession & Transition, M&A and Private Investments

- Analysing and evaluating companies and projects across market landscape, policy landscape, financial performance, peers & benchmarks and investor landscape

- Interacting with clients, contextualising requirements and preparing proposals

- Enabling strategic decisions for clients through preparation of high-quality presentations, collaterals, pitch-books and other reports

- Ability to envision business, commercial, ownership, transaction structures across financial, tax & regulatory aspects

- Ability to envision, evaluate and guide legal documentation across corporate ownership, projects, transactions and investments

- Sound knowledge in analysing financial statements, financial modelling, financial analysis and business valuation

- Proficiency in atleast two sectors

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Academic Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (with experience in Business Consulting)

- BE/Btech + MBA (CFA an added advantage)
