Location: Hyderabad
Designation - Analyst
Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Role: Client facing
Key role and description:-
Primary focus - Business Strategy and/or Transaction Advisory (including Business Valuation)
Other areas - Tax & Regulatory
- Working with the team in origination and conversion of leads leveraging primary and secondary research and analysis
- Interacting with clients, contextualising requirements and preparing proposals
- Enabling strategic decisions for clients through market assessment and benchmarking, industry & peer comparison and performance drivers of concerned industry
- Envisioning business models by preparing holistic business plans, detailed financial statement analysis, financial models, and valuation
- Testing sensitivities through computation of key ratios, financial metrics and differentiation and relative valuation
Enabling better market positioning through preparation presentations, pitch books, information memorandums and other collaterals / communication material
Conducting research and analysis on areas including but not limited to client's primary industry, competitors, macro-factors affecting the industry, client's position within the industry
Relevant past work experience, knowledge and skills:
Candidate should have worked in similar roles at an investment banking / business consulting firm or corporate finance division of industry.
Importantly, the candidate should have proficiency in the following:-
- Quick turnaround on primary and secondary research
- Ability to evaluate companies through annual reports and other key financial metrics
- Ability to understand and develop an impactful Business plan / Business case for clients across transaction and project opportunities
- Sound knowledge of financial modelling, financial analysis and valuation methodologies
- Conversant with preparation of pitches/proposals and investor presentations for transactions
- Ability to envision commercial / transaction structures
- Basic knowledge of legal documentation
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
- Proficient knowledge of MS PPT and Excel
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated and organized individual with inquisitive skills
Academic requirements:
Qualification -
- Chartered Accountant or MBA
- CFA an added advantage
