Role description
- Actively involve in business development, helping support or lead project bids, writing proposals and pitching to clients in the area of supply chain transformation (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning/Integrated Business Planning, Sourcing & Procurement, Warehousing & Logistics)
- Drive pipeline build and assist in execution of large transformation plays in the supply chain and operations area spanning across strategy, process, AI and analytics and supply chain solutions
- As delivery lead / subject matter expert, the candidate is expected to drive client billable engagements, and be involved in creating thought leadership and new service offerings with Capgemini Invent internal communities
- Proactively scan the business environment and keep a track of emerging trends, highlighting strategic insights that could impact businesses
- Engage in solution proposals, project scoping and Pilot projects
Background/ Experience
- 10+ years of increasing responsibility and successful track record in a consulting, supply chain transformation role. Experience in manufacturing sector (Steel/Cement/Chemicals/Aerospace & Defense/Industrial Machinery/Machine Tools etc.) is a must.
- Has been involved in delivery of end-to-end digital strategy and roadmap engagements for manufacturing clients.
- In-depth understanding of end-to-end business processes (i.e., Demand & Supply Sourcing & Procurement (including Spend management), Manufacturing Execution, Operating model design, Warehousing & Logistics, After Sales & Service)
- Exposure/Knowledge of digital platforms like SAP Ariba/Coupa, Saleforce/Oracle Cloud, SAP WMS/JDA etc.
- Client relationship management and account management skills with experience in leading mid-large size deals and project delivery
- Experience leading complex projects in a distributed supply chain environment
- Experience leading projects that leverage technology to improve process efficiencies across the supply chain
- Operating model change expertise across the dimensions of people, process technology and organizational transitions and operational support
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E. B.Tech.), Business, Supply Chain or Logistics discipline + Master's degree (MBA preferably from a premier institute such as IIMs, NITIE, SP Jain, XLRI, ISB, FMS etc.)
