Sr Manager - Digital Consulting (Aerospace/Industrial Manufacturing)

Role description :

- Actively involve in business development, helping support or lead project bids, writing proposals and pitching to clients in the areas of digital transformation

- Drive pipeline build and assist in execution of large transformation plays in the supply chain and core manufacturing operations area spanning across strategy, process, AI and analytics and supply chain solutions

- As delivery lead / subject matter expert, the candidate is expected to drive client billable engagements, and be involved in creating thought leadership and new service offerings with Capgemini Invent internal communities

- Proactively scan the business environment and keep a track of emerging trends, highlighting strategic insights that could impact businesses

- Engage in solution proposals, project scoping and Pilot projects

Background/ Experience :

- 10+ years of increasing responsibility and successful track record in a consulting in atleast one of the following sectors - Aerospace, Heavy Engineering, Metals, Steel (Not looking for any other industry)

- In-depth understanding of end to end value chain (i.e. Demand Planning/Supply Planning/Sales & Operations Planning/Integrated Business Planning/Sourcing & Procurement (including Spend management)/Manufacturing Operations/Warehousing & Logistics)

- Working experience in developing the future digital strategy roadmap from Digital Supply Chain

- Client relationship management and account management skills with experience in leading mid-large size deals and project delivery

- Experience leading complex projects in a distributed supply chain environment

- Experience leading projects that leverage technology to improve process efficiencies across the supply chain

- Operating model change expertise across the dimensions of people, process technology and organizational transitions and operational support

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E. B.Tech.), Business, Supply Chain or Logistics discipline + Master's degree (MBA preferably from a premier institute such as IIMs, NITIE, SP Jain, XLRI, ISB, FMS etc.)
