II. Job Objective :

1. Generation and management of sustainable pipeline of opportunities which help the organisation to drive business growth for future. The role-holder will establish sufficient prospective opportunities with Financial service organisations, telcos, retailers, fintechs, ecommerce players etc .

2. Present the knowhow of the market - size, people, opportunity etc to enable decision for strategic tie ups.

3. Build relationships with the decision makers with the prospective partners.

4. Plan deal approach along with head of Strategy and build customised pitches.

5. Identify /Create propositions with product team which are unique, differentiated and customised for the prospective partner

6. Participate in the negotiation of terms and closing the deal.

7. Develop system and processes to support the business by engaging with cross-functional internal teams.

1 Impact on the Business / Function :

- The role-holder will use his/her understanding of the industry and the competitive landscape in order to develop strategies to achieve the company's revenue targets, accelerate its growth and respond to challenges.

- Develop relationships with corporate leaders at target partner, engaging in strategic discussions and overseeing the process and closing the deal.

- Translate market/partner strategies in to specific actions for the organisation to generate sales/customer acquisition.

- Build the business model and enablers for success of relationship, transfer the relationship to business team

Typical Targets and Measures :

- The no. of partners on-boarded and enabled for business.

- Overall opportunity with each partner helping organization to drive the future growth.

2 Customers / Stakeholders :

- Identify new strategic partners based on research, meetings and sizing the opportunity

- Identify and engage relevant stakeholders (typically EXCO) in each of the initiatives to solicit their inputs and influence their thinking

- Syndicate preliminary findings and recommendations with the stakeholders; develop action plans

- Exceptional Collaboration and Influencing Skills; the ability to- work closely with various business unit leaders and their teams.

- Provide periodic updates to stakeholders on the progress of strategic business development initiatives

- Communicating well-structured, data-driven, and clearly articulated points-of-view to influence and meet stakeholders - where they are-

- Stakeholders engaged in a timely and effective manner, plus influence stakeholders where areas of disagreement to ensure alignment on strategic directions of the company

3 Leadership & Teamwork :

- Provide thought leadership in addressing critical challenges facing the organization

- Work closely with individuals across various functions in the organization including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Legal, IT, and HR.

- Acceptance by key individuals across functions and their willingness to partner in delivering strategic initiatives

4 Operational Effectiveness & Control - Clearly define problem statements and build hypothesis on solutions; often the situation will be ambiguous, take leadership in providing clarity and defining the problem

- Approach projects holistically, owning and driving end-to-end delivery of solutions

- Lead execution of key enterprise initiatives by forming collaborative partnerships with colleagues across businesses and functional areas

- Provide feedback on required analyses to advance solution development and to support execution of strategic initiatives

- Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in relevant areas

- Manage enterprise governance and communication processes
