Job Description: - SEO Manager
In addition to managing current SEO strategies, Will also develop and implement new tactics to drive growth and to maximize the natural search channel as a whole. Should be able to make firm and difficult decisions, think outside the box, and multi-task multiple projects, with results driven goals at the top of mind and a past history of success.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
- Devise, execute and manage search engine optimization (SEO) for digital assets such as websites, mobile sites, applications, videos and social media platforms, and drive increased value from search engines
- Work with the development teams to improve site structure, optimize page layout, indexing and rankings
- Evaluate product offering, traffic, landing page quality, content, design, demographics of prospective customers when determining keywords and campaigns
- Content and Product Optimization Work closely on a real time basis with the team to recommend improvements in content and product
- Implementing optimized titles, meta tags, internal linking & content optimization for all website pages
- Undertake Off-Page activities and invent new ways to build high quality and authority back link
- Managing team and helping them grow. Build understanding & train teams on SEO best practices to be followed within the organization
- Report on the overall SEO health of our key digital assets and competitions on going basis
- Monitor and report on organic search metrics and analyze trends
- Generate reports with tools like Advanced Web Ranking, Inspyder, Google webmaster tools or similar Organic tools
- Write effective headlines, body copy, and websites.
- Write effective call-to-action statements.
- Strategize ways to improve and track site performance.
- Utilize basic programming and web design skills to enhance SEO.
- Improve discoverability of the content on Internet; including but not limited to Search and Social media
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience of 4 to 7 years in SEO
- Team Management Skills: Effectively manage and work with SEO teams. Candidate should be easy to work with, assertive and a team player
- Proven track record of delivering tangible results on visibility, traffic and conversions
- Experience of doing SEO for large, dynamic websites is a plus
- Solid understanding of search engine ranking factors, algorithms, website architectures and back link strategies
- Exposure to relevant Content Management Softwares and SEO tools
- Ability to utilize social media such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google+, blogs and articles to influence search engine visibility
- Create search engine and human friendly content for new pages, blogs and article
- Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
