About the role

You will be working on fund-raise and specific strategic initiatives. Client interface is expected as part of this role. Specific responsibilities include:

- Analyze information, including synthesis, to develop options for the problems facing by the client

- Creating high-quality collateral including teasers, information memorandum, and financial models

- Develop and recommend solutions for the issue within the parameters (e.g., regulatory)

- Gather both internal (to the client) and external information with a 'solution-oriented' lens

- Translate the process into compelling communication to allow decision-makers to make the right ones

- Liaise with entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and others in the ecosystem to deepen our understanding and bring credible engagement opportunities to the firm

- Access and examine the economic, market, and sectoral trends to identify and understand the fund allocation potential and strategies

What we are looking for

Education:

- A relevant advanced degree is an added advantage

- Relevant certification in financial modelling is an added advantage

Skills:

- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

- Should be comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

- Financial modelling

- Should be comfortable with using databases (e.g., Pitchbook and S&P Capital IQ) and accessing reports

- Good writing skills

Characteristics:

- You should have a passion for applying a 'solution mindset' and resources to entrepreneurs and organizations which solve social issues

- You have a good understanding of doing business in emerging markets, understand regulatory constraints, and organizational cultures, and will bring a significant set of existing skills to CaHa Capital

- Ability to take direction and 'run with the solution', especially in time-sensitive situations

Experience:

- Experience in venture capital, advisory, investment banking, and consulting

- Ability to move fluidly between high-level strategy and detailed aspects of deal terms, business models, or market analysis

- Operational experience is a plus

- Demonstrated commitment to tackling social issues - either as a part of work or outside

- Proven capacity to build relationships and credibility

- Experience in Indian markets is an added advantage

- A natural intellectual curiosity to understand issues and develop and apply solutions with rigor and empathy

Location & Travel:

- Permanent authorization to work in India is required

- Travel (limited), mostly within India, may be required
