Cadila Pharmaceuticals - AGM/Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition (10-14 yrs)

Primary Purpose: Ensure the availability of high-quality resources for all facets of business operations in a cost-effective manner as per the sourcing/business requirement timelines.

Key Accountabilities/Activities:

- Effectively source and recruit the best talent for our domestic as well as international operations through the diverse avenues like job portals, campus tie-ups, headhunting, linked-in, employee referrals etc. for tech as well as non-tech roles within the given turn-around time

- Adept with using a variety of recruiting technologies to source talent including social media, campus setups.

- Efficiently track the manpower requirement trend and keep a pool ready for short-term deployments - Proactive or just in time hiring engagements.

- To understand the business requirements for the given job/skill set and design the Job description as per the specifications shared.

- Build and Strengthen the market research, pipeline building activities, proactive engagement process with the active and passive candidate pool

- Effectively undertake compensation negotiation and ensure parity across organizational bands.

- Effectively handle compensation structure elements as well adept in compensation negotiations.

- Effectively build tie-ups with Campuses/ vendors/external Channel partners.

- Effectively build an internal database for all skill and drive a relationship building process around it.

- Effectively map compensation basis compensation survey reports (provided by the organization) and also conduct internal compensation and benefits surveys basis market analysis.

- Ensuring touch points maintained with the potential employees till the joining day to avoid last minute regrets.

- Effectively handle all campus initiatives from assessment plans to selection within the specified timelines

- To plan innovative referral programs in order to reduce the total recruitment cost and motivate employees

- Effectively create and maintain all the trackers and dashboards pertaining to the complete recruitment life cycle and the ability to articulate the outcome of the trackers.

- To ensure TAT compliance for all the designated activities.

- To effectively lead the manpower planning process and track the ideal vs required manpower on regular basis.

- Effectively deal with ambiguity, understand business requirements and translate those into recruiting efforts.

- Effectively mentor guide and lead the members of the talent acquisition team.

- Effectively build and executive employer branding initiatives across various mediums.

Work Relations:

- Reporting to AVP-HR for all functional as well as admin issues

- Interfacing with all the hiring managers based out of corporate office as well as other locations of the company.

- Interfacing with members of the talent acquisition team.

- Interface with external vendors for any functional issues

- External Talent Acquisition interface during the course of all talent acquisition activities

- Interfacing with Finance, Technology and HRBP and HR Operations department for an employee, payroll and any other operational issues.

- Interfacing with other team members of people practices team for all functional as well as operational issues.

Desired Competencies:

- Proven research and analytical skills ability to make recommendations based on information Gathered and sound judgment.


- Demonstrated ability to work in high growth and dynamic business environment. Ability to deal with ambiguity, understand business requirements and translate those into Recruiting efforts

- High focus on outcomes and ability to stand up to committed deliverables.

- Strong communication, interpersonal skills - an ability to drive consensus in decision making, especially in conflicting situations.

- Sharp analytical capabilities, around - data interpretation, analyzing situations and driving actions most suited to achieve high impact outcomes

Qualification:

- Any Graduate with effective people handling skills.

- MBA will be preferred but not mandatory.

A. Effective verbal and written communication skills

B. Effective interpersonal skills

C. Effective Negotiation skills

D. Effective time management skills

E. High Proficiency in Ms. Excel skills. Advanced Excel Skills preferred.

F. Adept to work in a fast paced business environment and deliver within tight deadlines

Experience: 10-14 years in skill-based hiring and campus/mass hiring in the talent acquisition function

Working Hours: 6 days week (Flexibility to stretch and work in a 24X 7 environment is a MUST)
