We are currently looking for a General Manager/Director, TikTok & Vigo India to oversee the operation and expansion of TikTok & Vigo in India, including the overall business development, marketing and content growth. This role will be fully responsible for the overall product performance in the India. We are looking for a leader who has solid industrial experience and managerial skills, as well as who is able to adapt to a fast-paced, startup working environment with international background.
Job Description:
- Responsible for the overall operation and expansion of the product in the targeting market, including business development, operation. marketing, content growth, design, and data analysis
- Understand the business goals of the company, interpret the goals into detailed business plans and quantitative targets, and optimize the India operations on content operation, user operation, and safety operation to reach the business targets
- Be responsible for achieving key business results such as DAU, MAU etc.
- Lead planning and execution for online/offline events.
- Collaborate with the leadership team, provide feedback on India business, and provide constructive suggestions based on local observations, to enhance the user experience in the India market.
- Keep contents quality in the product of India on high level and the whole community is operated safely.
- Responsible for management and development of the India team members, including providing managerial guidance, identifying high potential talents, and providing mentorship and training in the day to day operation
Requirements-
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 8+ years of industrial experience in major tech or media companies in a role focused on content operations, marketing, or content partnerships
- Strong sense and insight in content product operations
- Understanding of India contents business and be familiar with different marketing channels including TV, magazines, network etc.
- Experience for leading large-scale online/offline events would be a plus
- Leader experience with developing business and team from 0 to 1 would b a plus
- Understand young Indian users' preference for contents
- Can work under pressure and be open for diverse culture, think out of box
