Job Purpose

To provide strategic thought leadership in creation and implementation of talent acquisition processes that enables achievement of hiring objectives and, thereby, fulfilling the need and requirement of business.

Key Role Elements

- Design and execute recruiting strategies to attract, evaluate and hire qualified candidates.

- Develop a recruitment strategy that cost effectively delivers sources for drawing a strong candidate pool by posting openings online, with professional organizations and other appropriate venues.

- Proactively identify and address hiring need and maintain talent pipelines with potential candidates and past applicants for future staffing needs.

- Analyze current talent acquisition processes, identifying process efficiencies, gaps and determining go forward process plans, i.e. identify and implement "best practices" and workflows across the company to help streamline and standardize processes.

- Provide leadership for the evolution of talent acquisition technology, recruiting approaches, hiring tools, and partnership with HR and business functions.

- Develop robust metrics to measure talent acquisition's effectiveness. Focusing on continuous improvement, the Vice President is expected to be active in reshaping and rebuilding standards and metrics of this talent acquisition organization.

- Promote diversity in the workplace and ensure recruiting strategies attract diverse candidates.

- Manage a team of recruiters and provide assistance as needed and Organize recruitment events to establish a strong employer brand.

- Enable leaders with proactive solutions to address people challenges and to foster a positive work environment

- Identify HR intervention/ project needs to drive key business metrics, create appropriate programs, actively advocate and create implementation frameworks for ensuring appropriate business impact.

- Participate in Company's strategic planning regarding employee development and engagement.

Requirements

- 15-20+ years of progressively rich experience in human resources preferably has worked with ecommerce & startups.

- A postgraduate in human resources from an institute of repute

- Strong business acumen.

- Track record of developing effective strategies to recruit and hire employees through effective sourcing and evaluation processes.

- Ability to design and manage processes with appropriate degrees of consistency for a global business.

- Deep knowledge of global recruitment strategies and branding and experience of managing multiple stakeholders

- Have a data driven and analytical mindset to assess organizational metrics and provide insights to the business

- Leadership skills to manage a large team spread across multiple geographies in India

- Strong collaboration skills within and outside of HR

- Excellent articulation, communication and presentation skills

- Experience of working in large organizations, involving matrix structures

- Proven ability to influence and interact effectively across all levels of the organization, including at senior levels
