What You'll Do:

- Owning end-to-end design strategy

- Identifying and defining KPIs and metrics for your team and drive overall team performance

- Work closely with fellow engineering, product, and business leadership to define our product vision and strategy across your product areas, and deliver tangible business outcomes

- Driving design standardization across the organization. Helping prioritize user interface improvements, making strategic calls on what is essential and what can wait.

- Defining, prioritizing and leading exploratory research and usability studies across the design organization.

- Spearheading cultural transformation in design org, revamping processes and frameworks with a view to enable path-breaking design output.

- Hiring, mentoring and coaching a team of design managers and designers.

- Working with product and tech counterparts to ensure that business objectives are delivered on in a user-first fashion.

- Create best in class design culture.

What You'll Need:

- Bachelor's degree in design, computer science, or a relevant field

- We care a lot more about quality of experience rather than just the number of years of working experience, as a broad rule of thumb, you have between 8+ years of total design experience.

- Additionally, 3-5 years of team management experience is required.

- Established track record in B2C design space. Exposure to user research and usability testing is required.

- Ability to prioritize for impact

- Hands-on leadership style would work best

- Ability to connect with customers, understand business objectives, and are able to build consensus amongst key stakeholders on the overall vision and strategy.

- A deep understanding and appreciation for good design and user experience
