BYJU'S - Curriculum Director - Content

At BYJUS, we address the learning needs of students using compelling content delivered through creative formats and technology (personalised journeys, images, videos, simulations, games, etc.). We are looking for Curriculum Directors who will lead teams that will design and develop content for students in the school (K- 12) segment.

Primary Role -

Designation: TBD on individual basis

Develop and package learning content in different formats around researched frameworks and processes to strengthen student learning and enable clear learning outcomes in our various product offerings.

Responsibilities:

- Curriculum/ Content Design and Review for the K-12 segment (Grades LKG- 12) or a subset in science, math, and allied subjects.

- Building and reviewing lesson plans for learners across different syllabi and demographics.

- R&D on instructional methods and learning theory.

- Generating rich formative assessment.

- Curating/ developing and reviewing learning content documented as research, scripts, presentations, etc.

- Hiring, mentoring, and management of content developers on implementation of curriculum and product frameworks.

- Strengthen the pedagogical impact of our compelling course content by working on content formats and flow.

Requirements:

- Prior experience of 4+ years in developing content/curriculums for upper primary grades.

- Deep knowledge of school-level Math or Science content.

Proven understanding/skill in:

- Learning theories and a track record of lesson and curriculum planning. assessment methodologies and a track record of assessment design. principles of academic education and pedagogy and a track record of content development. teaching experience (online or in physical spaces)

Good to have:

- Prior experience in film/animation/game/app design in education.

- Skills in data analysis & associated tools.

- Competence in visual communication design.
