About BYJU'S :

BYJU'S pioneered the edtech space in India. As an EdTech player, the Early Learning segment (broadly age 3 to 8) is thus a very strategic segment for BYJU's, where it already enjoys a market dominating presence with the Disney-BYJU Early Learning app. The app enjoys massive user love with over 10M+ downloads and industry leading retention.

About the role : The BGM is an entrepreneurial role that owns the P&L for a key format of the Early Learn program (e.g., self-learning or LIVE learning or play-based learning) while also constantly identifying growth opportunities for the format. The individual owns the vision for their format and works closely with multiple stakeholders from the Learning Design, Content, Product and Sales teams to bring high customer centricity to the final product and ensure a strong product-market fit.

Key responsibilities :

- Own the P&L for the category (i.e., have a clear understanding of unit economics and own execution of initiatives for achieving or improving on the same without compromising on student experience / parent experience / learning outcomes)

- Disciplined experimentation with new growth channels that are well aligned with the category

- Create and own tight feedback loops to create a relentless cycle of improvement for their category

- Drive periodic category reviews focusing on P&L and other category improvement initiatives

Prior experience :

- 6 to 8 years of experience in a consulting, growth, or category management role

- Candidate should ideally have formal experience in Operations management
