Reviews & creates annual sales plan for the category, in collaboration with Merchandising team, suggests same to COO.
Sets & executes buying strategies (brand-wise) to achieve the sales (Budget Achievement & growth %) and margin (Intake & Rupee margin %) targets.
Determines the buying strategy / pricing strategies for each brand in the category, overall 'Sourcing Strategy'.
Reviews the phasing / delivery of orders (season-wise) as per the OTB (Open To Buy) budget.
Evaluates the market trend analysis / competition analysis reports / customer survey reports to gather inputs for formulating the next season's strategy.
Collaborates with the VM team to oversee their display and suggests any changes.
Defines & creates the seasonal critical path and sign off the dates with the respective key holders.
Defines the brand's DNA through brand territory & target customer profile and the range planning thereafter.
Guides the team on product innovation & new product development to ensure that the product offering is viable to achieve the sales budget.
Deploys resources and directs & guides the team on a continuous basis w.r.t the execution of buying, design, merchandising and vendor strategy
