Buying Role - Consumer Durable/eCommerce (1-4 yrs)
We are looking for an experienced Buyer who will be able to understand kids fashion in India and able to procure relevant merchandise from a set of brands given to them.
- They should also be able to create a feedback loop between Company and third party vendors for business growth.
- They should be able to process purchasing requisitions from the managers in the field and turn those requisitions into purchase orders.
- The Buyer will be responsible for creating purchase order tracking systems, alerting management when orders have been filled, when reorders are required and invoices from vendors have been issued, answering vendor questions and providing them with additional order documentation as needed.
A successful candidate for this position has experience in the e commerce/kids fashion industry and an strong understanding of inventory management concepts. Also, they should be able to study trends and analyse competitor business.
Qualifications :
1. Candidates must have natural inclination towards kids fashion, trend analysis,
2. Strong quantitative skills and use of excel is necessary.
3. Undergraduate degree from a reputed institution, preferably from a fashion school
4. MBA from a reputed institution is a plus
5. Strong communication and leadership skills, preferably experienced in leading teams
6. Preferably 1+ years of experience in ecommerce/fashion/kids industry
