Buying Manager - Toys Category - eCommerce

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Buyer who has in-depth expertise in kids toys business and vendor base in India . The person should be able to create a great assortment and selection for Toys and other soft line and hard-line categories on our storefront.

Leading Vendor Management and Partnership:

- The person would completely own the vendor relation management. Vendor negotiations and pricing.

- Partnership and co-marketing ideas with leading Toys brands ( international and domestic).

- Own and intelligently create the best Toys assortment in the e-commerce space:

- You will own the entire selection for Toys and Arts & Crafts and other categories. You will envision and own the assortment creation for the category - width/depth /price selections for all age groups (infant/toddler/ child).

In-stock & Inventory Management:

- You will own the in-stock and inventory sufficiency for the assortment and religiously work with Vendors for replenishment based on reorder tools.

- A successful candidate for this position has experience in the e-commerce/kids fashion industry and a strong understanding of inventory management concepts. Also, they should be able to study trends and analyse competitor business.

Skills & Experience:

- Driven and hungry individuals who would love to setup a business from scratch and work in a start-up culture.

- Candidates must have natural inclination towards kids lifestyle and kids business.

- Strong quantitative skills and use of excel is necessary.

- Undergraduate degree from a reputed institution, preferably from a fashion school

- MBA from a reputed institution is a plus

- Strong communication and preferably experienced in leading teams

- Preferably 4+ years of experience in e commerce/kids industry
