- Responsible for end to end Buying and Merchandising activities including OTB (open to buy) planning, Range planning, Planogram, booking seasonal order, and Vendor management.
- Analyse - Sales, Margin, Sell through, Inventory holding, product design and competition benchmarking.
- Allocating budget at category and sub category level
- Arriving at the option count for the season & calculating the depth to be bought per option.
- Reviewing Budgets weekly throughout season, taking appropriate action for opportunity buy
- Preparing the range plan for booking seasonal order and vendor management
- Entire Design selection and finalization with the suppliers.
- Placing seasonal orders with key account, suppliers, distributors and follow up.
- Maintaining strong communication and business relation with vendors
- Streamlined Vendors supply chain process to reduce the lead time.
- Educated the Vendors on their STR contribution and improve business YoY.
Retail planning activities :
- Analyzing the Revenue, margin, sq ft return and PP strategy
- Analyzing the inventory holding and ways of liquidation.
- Analyzing slow performing stocks and putting appropriate schemes for liquidation
- Handling all national and regional brands through various business channels including Key Account, Distribution network
