Buyer - Procurement Function - Logistics (10-20 yrs)
Desired Candidate:
Key objective of the role is to support business as purchasing professional, handling transactional purchasing activity, closing contracts within threshold limit, making purchasing seamless and smooth, value-added partner and compliance monitoring along with SLA tracking.
Serving as a Buyer -
Organize and execute purchase orders in compliance with DP World policy. Be a facilitator for internal stake holders requirement in understanding and offering best possible solution. Contract management in alignment with Procurement manager. Build excellent relationships with suppliers to support internal requirement.
Key Facts:
Expected annual PO's to be rolled out : 1200+ no's and related local contracts
Relevant Qualification:
- Graduate (Preferred Engineering Graduate). Additional professional degree/diploma in SCM preferred.
- Good written/verbal communication in English, Hindi
Required Experience:
- 7+ years of relevant experience in purchasing and procurement at corporate level working with multiple business units.
- Proven experience in negotiation of low value purchases.
- Well verse with eProcurement tools (Preferred Oracle Fusion)

- Good interpersonal communication skill.

- Supplier Management & Supplier Market Knowledge
- Hands on with online sourcing portals (Preferred Oracle Fusion)
- Procurement Tactics - RFP / RFI Management
- Thorough understanding of purchasing Processes & Operations
- Mindset to work with multiple business units of varying needs
- Procurement Data Analytics
KPIs:
- Customer satisfaction Internal employee satisfaction
- Compliance to process and system
- Cross Business Unit contracts for regularly used items/services
- MIS regarding no of PO's , spend compliance through purchasing portal, Green catalog penetration, Cost to spend ratio, no. of suppliers, SLA monitoring
