About Our Client Our client is a stalwart in the Generic pharma space.
Job Description
Leadership:
To manage the Sales, Distribution and Marketing needs of the company across various segments domestically, and going forward, internationally.
- To provide strong, collaborative, visionary, visible and consistent leadership to the Sales, Distribution and Marketing teams of the company
- To lead and build a team of technocrats, sales and marketing professionals for high performance.
- To maintain morale, provide confidence and ensure the company's vision and mission are articulated correctly and are understood and followed by all in the team.
- To be a part of, and contribute meaningfully to, the core management team's deliberations, planning and performance.
Planning and Budgeting:
To develop annual and rolling business plans, budgeting for revenues and profits
- To manage and ensure achievement of the plans and agreed upon budgets
- To plan and ensure implementation of the Sales/Distribution & Marketing strategies as per requirements of specific geographies at the national/state/branch/HQs levels
- To develop Brand wise strategies to strengthen each product.
- To interact with R&D team for new product development
Develop a robust marketing strategy and ensure proper implementation
- Oversee advertising and marketing activities to ensure the maintenance of good brand and product recall and image.
- Work closely with product development & Research & Development team for forecasting the future needs & brand development accordingly.
- Manage digital presence and marketing
The Successful Applicant
Must-have criteria:
1. OPEN TO the following industries in priority order- FMCG, Retail, Pharma
2. Should have 15+ years of experience and should have managed a P&L of over 100cr
3. Should have managed a team of 20+ people
Overall understanding of all aspects of the business including finance, supply chain, and manufacturing.
- Strong exposure to rural markets & distribution
