Business Unit Head - Enterprise Applications (20-25 yrs)

Role - Business Unit Head - Enterprise Applications

Reporting: Global CEO

Location: Delhi NCR

Overview:

- Lead the enterprise applications business globally across a portfolio of various practices. The Organisation is managed through two main business units and this represents one of them which reports into the Group CEO. 


- The role will require to grow and manage revenue and profitability of verticals which include Aerospace & Defence, Energy & Utilities, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas and EPCI for ERP/FSM/EAM solutions. This role also requires to directly manage the concerned commercial department that oversees business development with offices in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Europe, Middle East & South East Asia

Roles & Responsibilities : 

Business Development:

Expand base of clients, products, service formats, geographies etc in line with strategic goals. Develop team for sales and pre-sales and partners to support revenue targets.

Strategy & Business Planning:

Prepare & oversee revenue, operating and capital budget for respective BU. Provide necessary support to executive leadership team in strategy development.

Delivery:

Periodically review different functions; actual vs promised progress as per agreed SLAs; initiate required corrective and preventive actions. Institute systems of customer satisfaction and control to provide confidence to customer

Capability Building:

Design & build organization, involving strategy & execution roadmap, objectives and operating procedures and other key functions/capabilities required. Train teams in new technologies ensuring they remain relevant to requirements.

Alliances:

Identify and engage with start-ups/technology vendors to deliver & implement ERP solutions. Build alliances with an ecosystem of IT suppliers; technology thought leaders / experts etc

Product Development:

Mentor implementation of Organisations products to increase revenues in line with the corporate strategy. Provide necessary support in development of Organisations product suite.

Requirements:

- Minimum 20+ years in ERP Industry including 10 years in leadership role

- Current role as Head of Business Unit

- Extensive experience in sales and sales management with proven ERP License sale background

- Proven track record of delivering results and scaling up a sizeable business preferably from a global ERP product/service company

- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute strategic initiatives to leverage business performance

- Has global network and exposure in multiple commercial industries-Must have international experience and working in a multi-cultural environment.

- A strong-willed and inspiring leader who can rally and motivate teams and drive them to execute operational and tactical goals with excellence

- Possess technical competency in Information Technology

Educational Qualifications/ Experience/ Skills - BE/ B.Tech/ MBA from a recognized university with 20+yrs experience
