Business Transformation Manager - IIM/ISB/XLRI/MDI/FMS (1-3 yrs)

Role Summary

The Business transformation manager (post-acquisition) - CEOs office shall be responsible for driving end-to-end post-merger integration & transformation program between the organizations to derive synergies seamlessly in alignment with the strategic direction of the organizations & priorities of the top management.

Primary Responsibilities

Scoping:

- Formulating, planning & implementation of program road-map, through defined scoping, timelines, deliverables & dependencies of inter-connected projects.

- Analyzing as-is processes & systems of both organizations to assess similarities & dissimilarities.

- Evaluating the pros, cons & challenges in integration.

Commercial Analysis:

- Evaluate costs-benefits-risks of integration across organization, functions, features, along with recommendations to the management.

Implementation:

- Lead & coordinate with the functional level taskforce to implement the integration plan.

- Monitoring the program progress & intervening with course-corrections to ensure compliance to scope, timelines & budget.

- Ensure documentation is maintained that acts as a guide for present actions & future reference of the management.

Management reporting:

- Regular reporting- of the brief & detailed status of the program progress, critical decisions to be taken- to top management & other stakeholders through dashboards & trackers.

- Must have the acumen to operate closely with the top management.

- Must be a strong relationship builder and able to effectively liaise with a broad range of stakeholders, externally and internally.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, time-management, written and oral communication skills.

- Self-starter and highly motivated; must have intellectual curiosity, desire to learn, and passion for providing superior services.

- Excellent problem-solving ability.

You Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

- MBA from a premier B-school.

- 2-3 years of experience managing programs/projects, people.

- Hands-on experience on MS-suite- Excel, Powerpoint, etc. MS Project Plan shall be an advantage.

- Understanding of both quantitative & qualitative aspects of Mergers & acquisition.

- Cross-functional understanding & their inter-dependencies.
