Business Transformation Services (BTS) – The group Our BPO today provides services to more than 100 clients across a range of functions like Finance and Accounting, Sales and Fulfillment, Sourcing and Procurement, Human Resources and Customer services, across multiple industry verticals such as Retail & CPG, Energy & Utilities, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Telecom and Financial services.

This experience has helped us build in-depth domain understanding and an ability to focus on end-to-end value chain evaluation and transformation, thereby positioning us to effectively deliver ‘true value’ to our customers.

The Business Transformation Services practice at BPO essentially focuses on driving process transformation through various inhouse and external established approaches such as Business Value Realization, Process harmonization, Six Sigma/Lean, etc. This group also advises clients on their Shared Services vision and provides comprehensive services right from design of future state model, location analysis, process evaluation, retained organization design and implementation of the Shared Services organization.

Additionally, this group focuses on driving Innovation and Transformation for some existing strategic clients. This involves setting up of Joint Transformation Boards with client, the sole focus of which is to systematically evaluate the entire value chain and identify and implement change enablers that impact business metrics and not just process metrics. The team The BTS team is a globally distributed team with Consultants spread across 3 key regions – North America, Europe and APAC. It comprises a mix of resources with different industry and functional expertise, as also client engagement & consulting experience. The thrust of the role is in ensuring that we move at the speed of ever-changing business demands of clients and deliver solutions that are relevant and effective.

BTS Consultants Areas of Responsibility

- Lead design of service offerings and projects in the respective domain

- Work with Consultants/Sales in other geographies to identify prospective clients, understand client requirements and present solutions to clients

- Manage delivery of engagements / work streams at clients site

- Manage team of resources ( depending on scale) during engagements, guide the resources, monitor progress, keep all stakeholders informed and take ownership of deliverables

- Lead/ support ‘Go to Market’ activities for their service – continuous update of toolkits, creation of marketing collateral and supporting participation in marketing events, as and when required

Work experience

- Experience in the areas of business process re-engineering, process design, organizational transformation, change management

- Good understanding of atleast one domain

- Project management of transformational programs

- Design and deployment of service delivery models (in any domain – Banking, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics, HR, etc.)

General Skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Adaptability to work in ambiguous situations

- Relationship management

- Active learning and eye for detail
