Business Strategy & Operations Leader - India Region (11-18 yrs)

We are looking at a high caliber leader to join leading MNC as the Leader for Strategy & Operations in India. The leader would work closely with heads of departments in India to drive key strategic initiatives across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Partnerships and HR and with cross functional teams in R&D, Platform development, Legal, Finance and Risk Management.

This leader should be a self-starter with a passion for technology with a proven track record of driving strategic business decisions, one who enjoys collaborating with cross functional teams and brings high ownership and commitment to the role.

Key Responsibilities -

- Strategic Planning & Projects: Define and drive planning and execution of key strategic initiatives for India Region with all Heads of Departments in conjunction with HQ/ Global strategy teams.

- Team Management: Manage a high performing team. Build strong collaborative partnership with business leaders in India and HQ. Partner with leadership team on key business and operational activities.

- Re-engineering and Business Intelligence: Work with cross functional leaders to develop standard processes, workflows, tools, analytical dashboards and management information systems for view of business. Evaluate process improvements and feedback loops, work with partners/IT to re-engineer critical processes and make them future-ready.

- Business Cadence: Drive regular business and operational reviews e.g. weekly/monthly departmental progress updates, competition and partner updates, forecasting and KPI management et al.

- External Partnerships and Associations: Work closely with external relations team on driving key strategic initiatives with large partner institutions.

Right Fit :

- MBA preferred, work experience between 12 years and 16 years.

- Experience in consulting, investment banking, e-commerce/ internet or technology in a corporate development or strategy role.

- Experience as a people manager. Ability to lead by influence at all levels of an organization.

- Strong negotiation skills, business acumen and the ability to innovate and think out of the box.

- Innovative with a high desire to embrace change in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.

- A positive attitude, eager to learn and a belief in working and winning with teams!
