Business Strategist - SaaS Firm

About the Role:

Business Strategist role is part of the CEO's office and involves closely working with founders and senior management of the Company. The key objective of the role is to create a comprehensive picture of the overall business health through key analysis, metrics and reports. You will work closely with founding team members on devising, executing and monitoring Company's key business and financial objectives.

Role Ownership:

- Research and Analysis: Carry out comprehensive market research to gain understanding of sectors, industries and help identify gaps and trends and build/validate assumptions.

- Business Strategy & Modeling: Develop an understanding of business objectives, metrics, key levers of the business to help build Company's business strategy. Create growth and revenue projections through business modeling. Validate assumptions and projections against actuals and improve projections.

- Data Mgmt: Work with Data Analysts and Engineers to create various segments and cohorts for reporting and analysis on user behaviour, engagements, LTV, CAC etc

- Management Report: Build/Maintain a MIS to measure performance and health of the business across various time periods. Create business presentations, investor decks and MIS for internal and external stakeholders.

Must Haves:

- MBA degree from reputable universities.

- 3yrs+ experience as Business Analyst or Strategist working on business strategy from top Management Consulting firm.

- Fluent with Microsoft and Google tools of Excel, Powerpoint, Sheets and Presentations.

- Hands on with Lucid Charts, Process Mapping, Financial Modeling, Business Metrics across in Marketing, Product, etc (SaaS exp++)

- Strong attention to details, inquisitive nature, Analytical and problem solving mindset.

- Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Self-Starter, Motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.

Good to have:

- Prior experience from Management Consulting and/or Series A or later-stage startup

- Experience in SQL, knowledge of databases big+

- Background in Product and Marketing Analytics strong +
