Business/P&L Head - Performance Chemicals Vertical

As the P&L Head for Performance Chemicals vertical for the company, this role carries full responsibility for the effective operation of the business in the domestic market including full P&L responsibility.

- Boiler Water Treatment Chemicals range

- Membrane Conditioning Chemicals range

- Pre-treatment chemicals range

- Industrial Degreasers

Roles & Responsibilities:

Management / Leadership Role:

- Market analysis for the company's Performance Chemicals business, assessing the current business setup and performance of the business vertical, while identifying the yet unidentified opportunities to assist in the development of a plan for the current & next three financial years.

- As a part of the personnel's KRA/KPI, delivering agreed order booking, revenues, and contribution margin for the business vertical.

- Taking appropriate remedial actions to redress shortfalls or variances to agreed targets.

- Seeking new customer and business opportunities on a continuous basis to ensure growth of the business.

- Coaching, motivation and mentoring of an enthusiastic team so as to continually develop their skills and capability.

- Develop KRA/KPI of a motivated team and sign off on the same.

- Developing effective marketing strategies and initiatives along with the other business verticals of the company to ensure maximum effective exposure of the business.

- Developing effective working relationships and communication with Group operational management, together with necessary corporate and Regional functions including Finance, and HR.

Business Operations Role:

- Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.

- Managing relationships with clients and seek both short term and long term business opportunities.

- Ensure that Quality Assurance & Inspection (QA & I) requirements are embedded into processes and project specifications by reviewing results as per Quality Plans; escalate repeated issues to Project Procurement

- Directing the development and implementation of purchase of raw material ensuring that plans are aligned with customer requirements.

- Ensuring maintenance of inventory at all times as per timely review of order booking end customer requirements.

- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.

- To consistently meet tight schedule deadlines

- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives, delegate work and follow up.

- Ensure effective working relationships with staff, customers, vendors and dealers.
