Business Operations Consultants (BOCs) manage key work streams that support our clients business processes and operations, manage teams, project planning, and client communication. They solve complex problems, proactively develop best practices for operating and optimizing business processes, and plan to accomplish work duties for self and team members within required timelines.


As a BOC, you will:

- Conceptualizes the client issue, leverages previous experience & research to design the best solution

- Makes good decisions regarding process design, data model, and technology solution to solve problems

- Manages large teams across offices and coordinates multiple work streams to produce high- quality results

- Mentors, coaches and guides Associates, Associate Consultants in the team, often across multiple offices and ensures effective communication within the team

- Shapes and delivers necessary written materials to support project and team communication

- Understands client operating business rules, data, and standard operating procedures

- Ensures analyses / processes are rigorous and thorough to uphold delivery quality

- Identifies potential opportunities for process improvement in client processes (Process Evaluation, Maturity assessment and Automation & Optimization). Explores new tools, techniques, working models to improve design and improve processes

- Establishes oneself as a trusted thought partner for the clients

- Develops deep expertise in the practice area/analytical tools and applies it to deliver high quality project work

- Manages client relationships to ensure long-term strategic partnerships

- Participates in the business and strategy development. Helps to maintain pipeline of new business by delivering high-quality results that set up follow-on selling opportunities

- Works on multiple client engagements, strengthening analytic and project management skills

- Develops business story telling skills

Qualifications:

- Candidates with a bachelors/master's degree in technology or engineering and an MBA, plus 4-5 years of prior project management experience in technology or operations are welcomed. In lieu of an MBA, 5- 8 years of relevant work experience may substitute. In addition to a strong academic record of analytic and quantitative work, typically demonstrated through consistent top marks in university, we seek individuals with the following personal skills:

- Structured and unstructured problem-solving skills

- Strong work ethic and personal initiative

- Ability to work in global cross office teams

- Team orientation, ownership and leadership experience

- Ability to lead large engagements and motivate, coach, and mentor teams

- Ability to deal with crisis and chaos

- Strong verbal & written communication, interpersonal and client management skills

- Mastery of Lean Six Sigma principles (Black Belt certification preferred)

- Creative and innovative mindset

- Process management improvement focus and willingness to learn cutting edge tool and technology

- Client service orientation and strong business acumen

- Innovative and entrepreneur mindset to develop new offerings for the clients

- Trusted problem solver and client connector
