Joint Venture-Business Manager
Business Manager role Managing all Joint ventures of the organization from a business review & relationship management point of view. Someone who has an experience working in IPC (Infrastructure Property Consulting) companies, understands the business and financial side of JVs
Experience - 5-8 yrs post MBA fin/CA
Role and Responsibilities -
- Preparing of Business Plan
- Overall supervision of activities of JVS.
- Steering Working Capital Management, Budgetary Control, Variance Analysis, SOX - Compliance, Internal Control, Financial Modelling, Treasury Management, Auditing and Team Management.
- Evaluation of all investment decision of the JVS
- Communicating with all JV CFOs to ensure that the financials are completed within target timelines; interacting with the JV partners in case any resolution / decision is required and with the auditors, in case any qualification / matter of emphasis is proposed
- Conducting reviews of monthly performance of JVs including MIS/quarterly financials/annual financials along with proper analysis and presentation to senior management
- Co-ordinating with Internal Auditors & CFOs of respective JVs for inputs and ensuring implementation of adequate processes to enhance organizational effectiveness
- Facilitating Corporate Strategy on acquisition / divestment including divestment of few JVs
Skills Required
- Excellence in making and validating JV business plans for maximizing profitability in line with corporate goals
- Expertise in Management Reporting for Senior Management review; reporting by breaking down and allocating P&L items to all the JV.
- Expertise in financial modelling and all JV related activities
- Business Analytical Skills
- Expertise in identifying potential profitable projects for growth of Company
- Outstanding communication & leadership skills that have been put to excellent use in resolving problems as well as promoting a positive work environment.
