Business Manager - CEO's Office

Our client is a leading Indian multinational and one of the very few global leaders in its field. A high-tech manufacturing company in the process sector with a large telecom footprint, they have now moved aggressively into upstream product and solution development within the industry. The company is one of the key players who will contribute substantially to the Digital India and Smart City initiatives and is looking at a period of rapid growth through both expansions and acquisitions on a global scale. Present in over 40 countries with close to half their revenue coming from global markets, they are building a uniquely successful organisation that is taking on global giants - and winning.

To strengthen the strategy and analytics at the top management level, the company is seeking to hire a Business Manager for the group CEO's office.

The Role :

As the Business Manager, you will report to the Group CEO. Your primary responsibilities will be to assist in developing strategy that is aligned with business goals of the company and effectively manage analysis and evaluation of performance to improve outcomes. Key tasks will include:

STRATEGY

- Assisting the CEO in developing and prioritizing strategies to align with company forecasts and goals

- Coordinating with the management team to align goals,

- Organizational reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses and to evaluate effectiveness

- Analyse the business plan, operating plan and mid-year/year-end accountability

COMPANY PERFORMANCE

- Creating and analyzing financial and budget reports to improve the company's financial health.

- Analyzing key sales performance indicators to help improve sales results.

- Assessing overall company performance against objectives

- Recommend business improvements based on market and competitive trends

- Performance Management : Financial Control, Efficiency, Risk Planning, Investment Planning, Partnerships

- Stakeholder management - internal and external

Your Profile :

Ideally an Engineering graduate with an MBA from a reputed business school and 8-12 years of relevant experience. You must have a strong background in analytics and performance management, with hands-on exposure to business strategy at the corporate level. We are looking at an effective communicator who has interacted extensively with top/senior management and can co-opt senior level executives in improving efficiency while pursuing the organisation's goals.
