Business & Liasioning Role - Input Alliances - AgriTech (2-20 yrs)

The main objective of the position is to lead the sales for Inputs and Farmer engagement business for the company. This entails leading the team to meet and exceed the revenue and profitability targets for Pan India.

The incumbent would leverage on the technology platform and the Agri Entrepreneur and other farmer outreach models to enable farmers to buy the inputs from the platform and get advisory services. Formulation of sales strategy, creation and roll-out of sales initiative, creation of annual, quarterly and monthly sales plan and tight execution of the plan to deliver target revenue, profitability and user addition/ farmer addition would be key success criteria for the role. Promote the company brand among the agri input companies and get these companies associated with us.


- Owns the overall on boarding of the Ag - input Companies within stipulated time on the platform.

- Discuss & prepare the product sales plan in line with the on boarded companies.

- Design and roll out MOUs with the companies on boarded.

- Discuss & implement the pricing strategies with the on boarded companies.

- Coordinate with the companies on liquidation of the stocks , gather support from the companies for the farmer trainings on specific products.

- Educate the team to leverage on cross sell opportunities for the team in post-harvest solutions in 3PL, financing and Warehousing.

- Drive the farmer engagement through the advisory services, AE model and other modes of engagements

- Closely coordinate with the Lead market development & input companies to drive crop advisory, input sales.

- Develop and maintain relationship with key personnel in Input producers of fertilizers, seeds and pesticides.

- Maintain & update Monthly Price Charts by the companies, Coordinate with IT Team for displaying products with proper product design & keep updated about the changes in the same.

- Coordinate with the Input companies to for the annual sales plan & execution of the plan.

- Coordinate with input companies to ensure proper documentation wrt to licenses, principal certificates , govt approvals are obtain before enlisting product on the platform
