Job Description

- The Consumer Insights and Lifecycle marketing team develops and publishes insights about how customers engage with products and services in India. We understand customers' online shopping journey by defining shopper lifecycle states, developing paths through these states, and we build experiences that enable customers to migrate to higher states of engagement. Our lifecycle state and migration path framework evaluates customer actions on and off Amazon to better understand how customers engage, and which experiences we should expose them to, at a given point in time.

We are looking to add to our multi-functional team of product, marketing, and business analysts, an experienced business intelligence engineer, who brings : 

- Passion for understanding customer behavior through data and customer anecdotes

- Ability to translate anecdotal customer feedback and market research trends into data driven analysis of gaps in customer experience

- Ability to work with data science, and business teams to develop customer segmentation, to value customers' engagement and transaction actions on Amazon, and build automated tools for the team to self-serve 80% of their data and analysis needs. This role involves high visibility to senior leaders and requires strong communication and influencing skills, deep intuitive and data driven thinking and problem solving capability, and the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity to deliver simple solutions.

As the Senior Business Intelligence Engineer for IN Insights and Lifecycle marketing, you'll be responsible for :

- Developing automated tools / dashboards to measure customer health and lifecycle state migration

- Developing customer segmentation and cohort analysis to identify segments / cohorts representing opportunities for business growth and customer acquisition / retention

- Analyzing and presenting insights from how customers engage across each Amazon category, product and service to present actionable insights

- Working across product, and business teams to identify opportunities for investment

- Working with ML, Data Science and Behavioral Analytics teams to develop and launch algorithms that infer customer state and propensity to take an action.
