Business Initiative Consultant - BFS (6-12 yrs)
Role Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Process Engineering, User Acceptance testing and strong understanding of Workflow implementation in Commercial Banking space supporting Lending activities related to boarding, funding, credit, and maintenance
- Sound knowledge and background of operational processes in a financial services context and good understanding of Workflow management tools
- Experience in implementing workflow management tools to streamline business processes
- Ability to facilitate workshops, design sessions and gather requirements from LoB SMEs, Senior leadership
- Experience working in AGILE methodology and SCRUM process (sprint planning, product backlog refinement, retrospectives etc.), with ability to elicit requirements, user stories, familiar with tool like JIRA and Confluence
- Proficient in Test defining test strategy, approach, and reporting progress to leadership
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment with an emphasis on teamwork
- Ability to lead a cross-functional team and work with internal/external stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate clearly and concisely with engineers and executives
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
- Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
- Ability to prepare reports, governance documents, metrics and presentation materials for various levels of leadership
- Intermediate / Advanced skills in MS-Office Suite (Specifically excel / PowerPoint)
- Individual with an Engineering background plus MBA from a Tier 1 institution is desired
- PSPO, CBAP, Design Thinking and Lean certification will be an added advantage
