Job Title: Business Head
Business head will be responsible for a vertical of the company's growing business. This is an end-to-end role that includes P&L, Client, Employees management and overseeing all the delivery for this vertical. The ability to drive people, communicate and inspire is key. Business head reports directly to Directors of a company.
Responsibilities and Duties
Strategy
- Responsible for P&L / Business planning and end-to-end management of the content vertical.
- Prepare budgets by department, growth plans and monitoring budgets vs actual.
- Drive growth in-terms of revenue and market share in-line with the business plan.
- Ability to develop and manage key account plans in order to contribute to our clients growth positively
- Provide ideas for product innovation pipeline for the portfolios to deliver product innovation aligned with the brand strategy and consumer insights.
- Understanding competition and reviewing employer's offering in the light of competitors- products
- Lead and manage product planning and strategy development, execution, control, analysis and evaluation of all activities associated with the portfolio.
- Influencing key decisions by engaging with clients, stakeholders, investors and influencers.
Marketing
- Oversee marketing and strategic plans and budgets in conjunction with the Marketing team (including innovation, communications, advertising and other activities).
- Identify trends and insights which can lead to new initiatives and growth.
- Promoting or developing the company's brand and building awareness about it with customers
- Generating new business opportunities / Participating in new business negotiations
- Collaborate with Sales to set promotional initiatives in-market.
Operations
- Responsible for delivery and management of the department with resource planning/hiring.
- Assessing new opportunities to focus on opportunities / Key business growth
- Managing operational metrics like TAT, Quality, C-SAT, Churn among others.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Post-Graduation in Business, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in a P&L / Business development / Business head role
- Be data driven. Good with data crunching, analysis and reporting
- Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.
- Ability to lead independently
- Proven experience as Business Head
- Understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- High ethical standards.
