Business Head- UP East
- Diverse experience of 18-20 yrs across various industries; should have 3-4 years of experience in a senior role (Telecom/ Tech/ FMGC Industry) with experience of managing P&L, managing projects and Regional rollouts/ expansions (including network planning)
- Develop Regional Operating Plans, policies and circle sales/revenue targets in line with overall business plans
- Ensure development of detailed project plans for product launches and network maintenance and rollout activities.
- Finalize operational and capital budgets for execution of plans in order to achieve business goals and monitor achievement of targets and budgets
- Develop proposals with the national head and senior team for new products (bundled products), tariff plans(around communities of interest), services (including VAS), approvals for Capex and Opex, technology up-gradation, longer term strategic tie-ups with vendors, channel partners and service providers
- Provide inputs and guidance to the Circle Sales, Marketing, CSD, O&M, teams and Profit Centre Heads (PCHs) in day to day operations.
- Co-ordinate, monitor and review performance in periodic meetings to ensure achievement of defined sales, collections and quality standards and network roll out targets.
- Monitor effective resolution of all customer queries and complaints, analyze and review customer retention and conversion metrics.
- Ensure participation in identification and selection of vendors and channel partners; establish processes to monitor performance of vendors and channel partners
- Ensure overall operational, cost and quality focus - monitor operational & billing efficiency, quality parameters and initiatives for continuous improvement and monitor documentation and compliance to applicable regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Review sales operations & performance for specific plans (Post and Pre Paid), Services (including VAS) within the Region
- Touch base with the Circle Ops Head for markets, customers for inputs and feedback on product, tariff and service standards of both self and competitors
- Support the Sales Team in Corporate and SME pitches and partnerships (postpaid)
- Work with the Marketing Team (Local and Corporate) for branding initiatives, product launches and star endorsements
- Support activities that create greater visibility for the organization (including CSR events and initiatives)
- Recruit the right talent and develop them through structured initiatives
- Drive motivation and alignment to business objectives by ensuring focused training, performance management, reward - recognition and communication initiatives at the regional/ Regional level
- Ensure skill building and development for effective succession planning at the Regional level
