Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for complete P&L of the business vertical and enabling it to grow multi-fold in the assigned geography (India/Overseas)
- Create a strategic road map, plan, control and direct activities of sales teams to attain business objectives. Responsible for the sales, product management, delivery and operations of the business.
- Build and execute a high-level, growth driven strategy to achieve profitable major market share. Execute strategy blue-prints for ROI/market share growth, operational efficiency and resource optimization and team management.
- Lead team to expand customer base with other cross functional responsibilities like Strategy, Research, Advertising, General Management, Product Management and Technical team's interaction.
- Responsible for Market Intelligence, Pricing, Packaging and Implementation, Cost Measurement/ Monitoring/ Management, Sales Planning and Budgeting
- Build strong relationships with key decision-making teams of existing and prospective customers.
Ensure all customer oriented processes including Customer feedback is managed well for high Customer engagement.
- Responsible for competition mapping/ tracking market trends and industry benchmarks.
- Drive innovation and deliver business critical assignments.
Desired Profile:
- Engineer with an MBA from a top university
- 12 to 15 years of experience in IT product/IT software/SaaS/Cloud sales selling to mid-size and enterprise customers with proven knowledge of financial services / banking industry
- Strong track record of selling value based software solutions across financial services/banking
- Strong sales leadership with experience of managing dynamic and high performing sales team and having an ability to inspire and move cross-functional teams
- Strategic and creative thinker, be result-driven, be self-motivated and proactive, have strong and innovative problem solving skills, be open and welcoming to change, and work comfortably in a constantly evolving environment.
- Ability to deal with ambiguities and operate in a fast-changing environment
- Work with various teams across global locations
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and communication skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
