Business Head - Poultry Business

We are currently retained by a leading Poultry Farming and Animal Feed Company in India to hire a P&L Lead for their Kerala business.

This is a leadership role and requires someone with the right experience to be able to lead and grow the business in Kerala.

- This role will offer you a great opportunity to manage all operational and financial performance of all divisions in Kerala.

The role would include :

- Responsible for formulating and implementing the strategic plan that guides the direction of the Feed and Hatchery business and manage P&L.

- Overseeing the complete operation of the feed business in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans.

- Oversee day-to-day operations and review performance metrics to enable the organization deliver results as per Annual business plan.

- Implements strategies to maximize brand awareness

- Develops, manages, implements, supervise administration of Feed operations

- To achieve trader, farmer and industry satisfaction

- Attract, hire, train, develop and direct a team of functional leaders to oversee each of their specific areas of responsibility to achieve company goals and objectives.

- Keep up to date with latest developments / trends in the respective areas of work and recommend the same for improving performance / productivity / engagements levels

To fit the bill, you must have :

- Proven experience as Profit centre lead in poultry/ broiler or feed mill

- 10+ years of experience in handling all the business operations with specific experience in poultry and feed industry

- Experience in business planning, operations, budget management, customer handling and financial analysis

- Good in maintaining key working relationship with Internal and external stakeholders

- Team handling experience

- You must be a B.Sc or M.Sc Veterinary Science/Agri/Biotechnology with work experience in poultry or broiler division

- Must have 10+ years of Strong experience in Livestock/Poultry/Animal Health/Animal Nutrition or allied industry

- Must have expertise in local language Malayalam

- Candidates from pharmaceutical industry with at least 8+ years of experience in poultry P&L management can apply
