Title : Business Head Reports to : National Head Sales Personal Specification : Qualifications : Any Graduate MBA Professional Qualifications : Certifications in ITES Certifications in IT Experience : Minimum 10 years in Sales, 3 yrs exp in Branch Management IT/ITES Sales - Communication skills in Written and Spoken English Excellent Technical Certifications : Cisco, Microsoft, Infocomm etc Analytical skills : Strong Relationship building : Excellent Presentation skills : Excellent Consultative Selling Skills : Excellent Market Knowledge/Awareness : Must Job Responsibilities : Team Leading & Administration : - Ensure that office is well organised and is in functional condition always. - Allocation of duties to office staff and ensure their performance. - Ensure timely submission of reports. - Stock to be maintained properly with timely submission of stock statement. - Handle all office related administrative functions. - Ensure security of office and security of data. Keep a strict control over expenditure. - Keep the team motivated, Groom the team and Act as a mentor - Control over attrition. - Accountable for all activities of the branch including impllementation of all instructions, following of processes, etc. Developing New Accounts / Account Mapping : - Existing accounts need to be mapped better and deeper. Focus on improving relations with all clients - Focus on developing new accounts (across the board), OEM's, Architects and PMC's - One new account per sales person per month Training & Learning : - Sales, technical, product, positioning & consultative training program to be implemented across the board. - 16 to 20 hours of training mandatory. - Attend monthly training program scheduled and ensure that team also does it. Focus on new Verticals : - Unified Communications and Enterprise IP Telephony - 2x size of video conference market - EM sollutions - Channel - Greater Focus on products other than projectors - Develop channel base and progressively increase geographical reach. Services Business & Profitability : - Exponential increase in services revenues needed - Focus on improving the bottom line - Running the branch as a profit centre Reporting / Reviews: - Daily reporting - Weekly reviews of staff - Monthly Project Reviews Project Management / Quality Control : - Strict adherence to quality controls and project management processes laid out over the last 18 months - To ensure there are no customer escalations - Coordinate post order activities with the Project Manager and Coordinator. - Ensure that projects are completed on time Collections : - Sales rep and Biz head are accountable for full and timely collections. HO team will provide assistance - Monitor collections of Channel team - Credit limit - 30 days
